Why have you chosen to be part of the Marywood Alumni Association Board of Directors?
I wish to share my many years of educational experience and expertise in helping to communicate the unique educational experience, opportunities and activities 51Æ·²è has to offer students to ensure they will be successful in their careers and valued citizens in their communities.
What is your favorite memory from your time as a student at 51Æ·²è?
Performance in all the glorious concerts !
What advice would you give a student attending Marywood?
Make the best of every moment! Study very hard so you always achieve success in your academics. Challenge yourself-do not settle for the least. Set high goals for yourself and always be confident - know you can be whatever you want to be! Choose a veered doing what you love- become an expert at it- you will be happy with your life. You will never have to say- “ I hate this job” . Loving what you do and earning a living doing it is priceless. I was so fortunate to be able to do that!
What were you involved with during your time as a student at 51Æ·²è? (athletics, clubs, etc.)
Marywood Orchestra, Marywood Chorale; Drama Club- was invoked with the plays; St. Cecelia Music Club; MENC student chapter.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I currently sing and play cocktail music in restaurants and do volunteer music in senior citizen centers and nursing homes.
