2018 Annual Dinner Recognizes Sigma Phi Omega National Society Initiates

On Thursday, April 19th, the 51Æ·²è School of Business and Global Innovation held its Annual Dinner to recognize the 2018 Sigma Phi Omega National Society Initiates. Also, the keynote speaker was Secretary Teresa Osborne, Pennsylvania Department of Aging, who spoke in the theme of "Business and Aging." Other speakers included 51Æ·²è President Sister Mary Persico I.H.M., Ed.D.; Cara Bell Green, Director of Alumni Engagement; Arthur Comstock, Ph.D., Executive Director & Chairman Investments and Corporate Finance; Alice McDonnell, Dr., P.H., Professor, Health Services Administration; and Sister Katherine Clauss, I.H.M.

Bowen Family Supports Marywood Momentum Program with $15,000 EITC DonationMarc and Susan Bowen recently presented a $15,000 Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) donation to support 51Æ·²è’s Momentum Program. The dual enrollment program gives qualified high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credits while completing high school graduation requirements. The Bowens’ generous support will help expand access to valuable early college learning experiences for students.
